The first of the prime time movies, all of which reunite our beloved behemoth with former co-stars Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno, overcame formidable competition last spring to become the fourth highest rated show of the week with a whopping 32 share.
The second television movie, scheduled to air on May 7th as we go to press, promises to be an even bigger bonanza, offering viewers a cameo appearance (in true Hitchcockian tradition) by our own resident celebrity and Hulk co-creator — the one and only Stan Lee.
Speaking of Stan Lee, you'll be seeing more of his brainchildren in prime time since the Hulk has agreed to a little help from his friends. The first Hulk movie marked the television debut of Thor played by Eric Kramer; the second features rock star turned actor Rex Smith as Daredevil; and the third introduces our green gargantuanette, She-Hulk.
| RetroGalaxy Editor's note: These Incredible Hulk tv movies were produced by Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno and were made several years after the successful series was cancelled. The "third" movie mentioned above did not introduce the She-Hulk as promised. She was scheduled to appear in a planned fourth movie, along with Iron Man, but with the death of Bill Bixby in 1993 that never happened. |
